GLASSCOCK, Joseph Hobson - Jr. - Putnam

ROACHDALE - Joseph Hobson Glasscock Jr., 40, of Roachdale, a former truck driver, died in his home Friday morning. He had been injured in an accident some time ago and had been an invalid since then. Mr. Glasscock was born on March 24, 1933, at Louisville, a son of Joseph Hobson Glasscock Sr. and Georgia Drane Priest. He served in an airborne division of the Army and was married to Patricia Shinn. She survives. Also surviving are his mother and four children, Danny Ray, Bobby Joe, Gregg Allen and Brenda Carol, all at home. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Perkins Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.   --- jlr
